「The staff were great. They were engaged with you whenever you were near. They were helpful and great to chat with. The check in staff was so kind (I think his name was Duane)」

「This is an older motel, but it was clean and comfortable. As with many older places, the biggest problem was finding electrical outlets to plug in phones etc . The property was close to the center of Cle Elum and a 25 minute drive from Ellensburg, so it was a convenient stay for us. No frills, but clean and adequate. Note that the train tracks are nearby, but didn't wake us up.」

「Efficient stay. Arrived. They asked my name. Handed me the key and I was asleep in my room 15 min later. Breakfast is standard continental. Coffee was not good. Tasted burnt, but there is a Starbucks and Dutch brothers right down the road. 」

「We had a later check in and the person at the front desk was not helpful. They did not provide a receipt, share the check out time, or any other information. The room was fine and did its job for the short night we were there, although the bathroom seemed to have not been cleaned thoroughly. The shower had personal toiletries and used washcloths on the side of the tub.」

「I enjoyed the room immensely. Kitchen, large bathroom, nice tv and desk. I got a ground floor room and heard very little from the folks above me. Bed was a bit soft for me, but still comfy. Clean. Lots of decent parking. Nice breakfast....standard fare. The only complaint was the oatmeal (LOL) it was dry and lumpy. I grabbed a bagel and hit the road. I'll consider staying again.」

「Well.... the only real disappointment was the smell of mildew as we opened the door which was shocking. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows did not look clean. Thankfully, I always bring my own pillow. They did have K cups in the lobby. So that was nice to have coffee. Whenever I wanted. The lobby was a nice place to play cards and hangout.」

「I never leave reviews but this was so shockingly good I have to. I was in town for Brandi at the gorge, just needed a quick place to sleep, and figured a 2-star hotel would do the trick. This place is fantastic: large room, clean and updated. The manager (I think she said manager) happened to be there when I checked in and she was so nice and helpful. Don’t be put off by the 2 stars and non-chain name, it’s perfect. I will 100% stay there again. (For perspective, I’m mid 50s and travel...
