「A very refined country hotel, fine dining was excellent quality. Vey helpful and friendly staff. Away from the hustle and bustle . An very well stocked bar with good wines and an extensive whisky selection. I cannot recommend it enough」

「Lovely old building but in need of general updating. Grounds and gardens lovely and very well kept with easy access to the river for walks. We booked ‘Deluxe’ double room but nothing like the publicity photos, comfortable enough though. 」

「We loved everything about this unique hotel. The Godwin floor tiles are simply superb, but the 'traditional' feel to the hotel adds to the charm. Terrific value, and we will be back.」

「Lovely old building with some beautiful original features. The rooms we had were extremely spacious and the beds were very comfortable, I certainly had a great night sleep! Breakfast was superb, a great varied menu and happy to make changes to suit. One big bonus was the enclosed garden which was great for the dogs. Sue and the staff we met were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. We’ll definitely be back!」

「We’re stayed in a lot of places around Llandrindod wells while back visiting family. This is one of the very few places we would happily go back to! Nice quiet area, a little bit out of town… but you should expect this, you’ve booked a stay in mid wales! Great breakfast, solid night sleep (although the mattress could maybe do with an upgrade if we’re being picky). Definitely will go back again」
