Few of the things that I love capturing are stunning reflections, colors, landscapes and skylines. I returned to this park almost after three years and wasn't disappointed at all. Rocky gap State Park is located in Western Maryland, 2 hours drive from Baltimore. The fall colors have not peaked in this part of Maryland yet, but likely they will in the next one week. The property allows pets, which I needed. Stayed one night. It's next to, and shares parking with a large gas station. That's so convenient, and can also be a little chaotic. The room was clean and the front desk very nice. The A/C in my room was loud and very old, the only drawback.

Nice place. It is a motel and not a hotel. I didn’t realize that when I booked. I prefer to stay in hotels. Anyway, it was fine, clean and Starbucks nearby. Bath towels seen some use but all in all $80 for the night, I thought it was with the price.
