「What an amazing place! Beautifully restored, warm, cosy and very welcoming/relaxing and with a fascinating history (used in many films). Helpful attentive staff whilst not being “stuffy” (a pet hate of mine!). Would definitely treat ourselves to a stay here again. 」

「This is such a stunning property! Even though you’re a quick drive from Heathrow, you feel a world away. The birds chirping, the river flowing, the beauty around the property and Bray is all incredible. I went for many long walks as a solo female traveler, including after dark once on accident, and felt incredibly safe. Can’t wait to come back! 」

「This is a place for when you want to toyally switch off, relax and gave a great nights sleep. Having no TV on the room, meant we went to bed early, heard no a sound all night and came away fully refreshed after one night. There are a couple of nice pubs and restaurants in walking distance and the Thai Orchid is fab.」

My only negative is that the housekeeper mustn’t of looked inside the kettle because it wasn’t pleasant and needs replacing. But I just used the kitchen kettle for my morning coffees. 」

「OUR ROOM WAS CLEAN AND BRIGHT AS WAS THE HOTEL GENERALLY. PARKING WAS EASY INSIDE AND INSIDE THE HOTEL BOUNDARY. STAFF WERE HAPPY AND VERY HELPFUL. DID NOT USE LAUNDRY SERVICES. HAD A GREAT STAY AND WILL COME AGAIN.」

「Overall this is a good value hotel. For me it worked well as I had been workign in Milton Keynes and was flying from Heathrow on business the next day. It was well priced, accessible and serivce was good. Room was comfortable - if a bit dated. Food was good, bar staff were great, tv had Champions League match I wanted to watch.
