We really enjoyed this place… we didn’t mind that it was a little bit out of our way because it was so cute. Staff was so nice. We stayed and five different places through our Iceland and this was our favorite out of the five. Very fair price compared to everywhere else we stayed… highly recommend it

The room was great, bed and en-suite downstairs, a sitting area upstairs, admittedly it's easy to bump your head on the ceiling going upstairs. When we arrived we were asked if we wanted to book a table for dinner, unfortunately we had already eaten as the menu, whilst limited, looked good. The breakfast was more than adequate, and better than some more expensive hotels, however I would have appreciated more fruit.

We had a very nice stay overall. We arrived close to the cutoff checkin time of 11:00 pm and had called in advance that we might be late. The owner was very understanding and accommodating. One issue we had was when we tried to use the hot water in the room after we checked in, it wasn’t working both for the sink and the shower. We called the front desk about it and they said that we would have to wait until the next morning as the tank was out of hot water. Other than that, the room was clean. We had the room with the loft as there were 3 of us. The free breakfast included was a nice treat.

Really lovely setting with wonderful staff. Breakfast was great. Had to head out for dinner but not much of a drive to get to Hraunfossar which has a nice restaurant near the parking lot.

Wonderful place to stay. Very quiet. Dinner at the restaurant was outstanding. Note that they have a simple menu, with the meal prepared that day.
