「Private apartment, managed by the hostel around the corner. Double bed in living room is a full size couch/futon (a 1.5 person bed). When we came in, the mirror was full of white foam, sprayed but never wiped. That was a quick remedy. Nice decoration. There was a very strong cleaning smell in the kitchen and bathroom and I could see a spray of it in the sink, like it was never rinsed (think Antikal, liquid descaler). That should have been rinsed. 「The rooms had their own car park but required a deposit in cash to obtain the remote for the gate. I don’t carry cash so was forced to haul my suitcase up and down multiple stairways and along a dark and uneven path around the back of the building to get to my room late at night. The room itself was fine. Clean and spacious although the bathroom smelled mouldy. Lighting was poor - particularly in the bathroom. Overall it was fine but nothing special.」
