"Extremely disappointing stay — listing is highly inaccurate ​We spent 13 nights here for our honeymoon and were deeply disappointed. The property listing is very misleading: it claims there are six pools, but there is only one small pool (with no deck chairs or seating) and no garden area at all. ​The amenities were equally poor. The washer and dryer were broken, and we were only provided with one bath towel for two people—no hand towels or face cloths or even a dish towel were available. The kitchen was barely functional, with an incomplete set of pots, cutlery, and utensils. To make matters worse, the cleanliness was unacceptable; the walls, windows, and kitchen counters were all visibly dirty. We expected a much higher standard for such a special occasion. You will also need to speak fluent French to have any type of conversation with staff."

"The room is spotless, and the staff was courteous. Dinner and breakfast were both amazing at this hotel. I would definitely revisit in the future."

"This hotel is top notch in that city. It’s very clean, the rooms are spacious, the services are beyond expectation in that city. It’s not too far from the main road, easy accessibility to other things of interest as most amenities are in the building, such as, a clean pool, great restaurant, mini shops, spa in the building etc. and the security too is very great. The entire building is beautiful and the pictures do not give justice to the actual building or rooms themselves, it looks better in person than what the pictures portray. I am looking forward to staying here anytime I am in the country or area as it’s the best I have been in since I have been in the area. Thank you Exotic Plaza Hotel for bringing the change and standard that people need. "

"I didn't find anything positive except for the location. The WiFi didn't work at all. This is a very old building whose owners joined the Ibis chain a few years ago."

"Room was basic. Had to ask to get a second towel. Asked or an iron, was told THE iron they have wasn't working. Bar staff used the age-old excuse of not having change, to self tip."
