"This hotel and associated apartments (we stayed in one of the apartments) was the perfect location for exploring Bologna. The staff were very helpful. The rooftop bar was beautiful. We had friends who stayed in the actual hotel and thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast each morning at the hotel. The rest of our group of friends stayed in the apartments and enjoyed walking to the Conads (chain grocer in Italy), which was steps away, for breakfast. I would most definitely stay at the Hotel Metropolitan when visiting Bologna!"
"The hotel is well-placed opposite the station and within easy walking distance of the centre of Bologna. It has lovely gardens to the rear. Reception and bar staff very professional and helpful.
The room was clean and newly refurbished. Pillows much too soft, options needed. Floor of shower feels slippery.
Breakfast disappointing. Empty yoghurt fridge and orange juice not re-filled when depleted. Bread had run out and not replaced. Crockery not replaced during busy service."
"The hotel is lovely. Many of the high ceilings are frescoed and the floors are marble. Although our room was not large it was well appointed and luxurious w upholstered wall and fine lenin sheets. Our room was ver quiet as well. The location for the hotel is perfect! "
