**Unexpected Additional Charge at Check-In** During my stay, I was surprised by an additional fee described as a "tax" (for non-residents) upon arrival. This charge was not mentioned during booking or on the website, and I hadn’t encountered such fees elsewhere. When I inquired, the hotel stated it was their policy, and the booking platform confirmed they couldn’t address it. The lack of transparency was frustrating, especially after a long trip. While I visit Bogotá frequently, this experience has made me reconsider staying at this hotel again. I may also explore other booking options in the future.

Reservation not recorded, tried to bill me twice

I arrived at approximately 10.30pm. The receptionist was unable to access reservation records and consulted with her manager. This took a number of calls while I waited, after a long journey, to finally rest. In total, approximately 15 minutes was wasted simply because the receptionist could not locate my reservation and the manager - who should have been guiding her through this - seemed unable to do so. When I checked out the following morning, the same problem arose again except worse: a different receptionist then sought to extort the full price of the room from me again, even though I had already paid directly at the time of making the reservation. Despite the problems of the previous night, it was clear that the hotel had conducted no additional efforts to locate my reservation and update their records and so the whole nonsense resumed again the following morning. I had arranged a taxi and until I firmly explained that I had paid once and would not do so again, the drama would have continued. The room was small, not even large enough for me to open my luggage. The bed linen had marks on it which is never reassuring, as did the towel. A very unsatisfactory experience which wasted far too much of my time due to the hotel’s poor administrative processes.

Las fotos no coinciden con el hotel, llegas y te mandan a otro argumentando que "te equivocaste", el traslado al hotel al que te mandan va por tu cuenta, no queda cerca y en la zona hay mucho ruido día y noche, no se puede descansar ni mucho menos dormir. Además de que te cobran impuestos adicionales a los que ya pagaste en Expedia, el personal es prepotente, grosero y cuando envias tus comentarios en la App son sumamente altaneros y sin la mínima educación, te tratan como si te hicieran un favor cuando el favor se los hace uno en hospedarse y dejarles tu dinero. Adicional, el desayuno está del asco, no es desayuno es un refrigerio escolar, mejor no den nada. Elijan otra opción, hay muchos hoteles en la zona y estoy seguro de que en cualquiera te darán un mejor trato.

Casi excelente

El lugar está muy bien ubicado, justo a un lado del parque Simón Bolívar. Carlos brinda un servicio excepcional en el turno de la noche: es muy amigable. Internet y otros servicios, como agua y SmarTV, funcionan a la perfección. La habitación tiene persianas que bloquean totalmente la luz, dejando así dormir a gusto toda la noche. Lo único que no me gustó es que estuve tres noches y nunca limpiaron mi cuarto.
