"Great experience, friendly staff, the lodge is one of a kind, our room was located in the newer building near the lagoon which was equally beautiful serene. The onsite resturant is fantastic. Amazing food with friendly staff who provided prompt and excellent service. Our server was knowledgeable with the menu and gave us some great local options to explore."

"Our 2 night stay at Penn Cove cabin was magical! We saw bunnies, hummingbirds & eagles all from the front porch meadow area. And hearing the frogs in the pond as you drift off to sleep was so peaceful. The cozy little cabin is tucked away in the woods yet so close to anything you need. Deception Pass state park, Oak Harbor for morning coffee or groceries, Fort Casey/lighthouse & Coupeville are a must. The hosts are super helpful & quick to respond with any suggestions or questions you have. The interior was clean and beds were comfy also. It was the perfect place to come back to recharge after a day of exploring the island. "

"It was beautiful! View outstanding. The pictures you have need to be updated. The outside looks nothing like the photos. Overgrown- weeds by the front door area and so much sand. Cliff we can tell has been slowly eroding. Next door the neighbors are loosing their yard. Your yard the fence dangerous. I would not have any children in yard. grassy and things including old tables and wire fencing laying around. Deck falling apart. Lots of sand- we understand but none cleaned up. Bbq horrible even though I asked if we can use it. Unusable and the fire table no propane tank just lying there. Inside good. Only we had to replace the batteries on the smoke detector. One of our washcloths in bathroom gross and bloody. Not goood. Had to ask for keys to garage was not in your book. We did see whales hanging in the area. I would not have pets there dangerous yard. Soo much sand out front. Could have been cleaned or swept for new guests arrival. "
