"ideally located to visit areas of North Wales
Not much within walking distance
Cara on hotel reception was excellent and provided some information on surrounding area and arranged best time to visit to spa"
"Room was huge so was the bathroom plenty of room for the whole family and fury friends if you have them! Beds were comfortable and clean everything provided for a lovely stay. Sunday roast and other foods were beautiful and yummy. Would stay again for sure, reception staff were amazing and offered up gluten free options and places we could eat when they had stopped serving when we arrived, lovely little town. Everything you’d need. Local shop, coffee shop, pub’s, restaurants and a tiny petrol station all within the same high street that’s less than a mile long. Great value for money 🌟"
"This is a fabulous place to stay right by Swallow falls. The rooms were very spacious, bed huge, shower amazing and set at perfect temperature. Also you don't often get conditioner in the shower/bathroom, I did here which made a nice change, I usually have to take my own. The food was very reasonably priced and delicious with a good choice on the menu. Staff very friendly, special shout out to Zoe who made us feel very welcome when we got there and throughout the stay.
Lovely decor on the inside like an old coach house, would highly recommend staying here"
"Hotel was a lovely old hotel and everything needed was provided in the room. Due to the age there were some creaks and bumps and the church clock struck on the hour. So, earplugs were also provided if needed. That said i would definitely stay again."
"Had a lovely stay. Room was very basic but it was absolutely perfect value for the price paid. Everything was spot on for relaxing after a days hiking. I would definately visit again."
"Well first of all the staff was pleasant, helpful and professional. For me the location was excellent with plenty of places to walk, multiple supermarkets within easy walking distance and several place to order good food. Speaking of food, the Beef and Guinness pie served here was excellent. One thing, the car navigation system in the car I leased (a VW Golf Hybrid 8 SE from Europcar) not only couldn't locate the place, in fact it couldn't find Station street in Bangor at all (this has happened several times) so use Google maps for the last 5 miles of your trip as it knows exactly where this Pub is. I'd stay there again."
