I've stayed in several bed and breakfast hotels on Blackpool and this was the best one. Still the same homey atmosphere but more professionally run. The usual creaky stairs and narrow corridors but renovated to a higher standard. Our "small" room was bigger than I expected and had a nicely tiled bathroom with a modern shower. The electrical outlets were well placed and even had smart phone plug-ins. Breakfast was really nice with lots of variety. All in all, a great stay.
The staff were so friendly and could not do enough to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Big shout out for Gary, Laura and Abi and all the staff. The room was clean and serviced daily. Breakfast was freshly cooked. They provide safe parking for a small fee. One of the reasons we selected this accommodation was the closeness to the Tower and Sea Front. It is set back slightly so you can easily walk there but be just away from the throng of people. If we venture back to Blackpool we will certainly be hoping to reserve our accommodation here again.
This was the first time we had stayed here and found it to be a lovely friendly small hotel. The staff were very helpful and nothing waas too much trouble for them. The patio at the back was an added bonus and a great place to have a late night drink and watch the sun go down. Located close to the centre of Blackpool but far enough away to be peaceful. We would highly recommend Fairhaven.
Great location and only downside was the parking. The hotel was lovely and welcoming. The room was very accommodating with 2 singles and double.
Breakfast was really good

Pleasant enough hotel for what we needed it for.
Pleasant hotel, basic but that's fine when all you need is a bed at night and shower in morning. Clean towels given for everyone and cooked breakfast in morning was good. Beds could have been more comfy but can't complain for price we paid. Staff friendly and parking just up the street so nice and handy. Would use hotel again.
The staff were amazing! They were polite and genuine. You could tell they cared about their job and had fun doing it. I loved hearing them singing along to music. The beer garden was a nice place to enjoy a beer in the afternoon and my coffee in the morning.
Pleasent staff, clean and child friendly.some other residents where a little loud allowing their kids to scream with no concequence at 10:30 pm and it was incredibly hot.each room could do with a fan.other than that it was a pleasant stay.food and staff was good and i felt welcomed
I stayed in this Hotel with my partner and 2 Children for a family break to see the illuminations. With every hotel there is Good Points and Bad Points, but overall I would stay here again:
Good Points, the breakfast was amazing and all the family really enjoyed it. The staff were excellent and very welcoming. The location is perfect for all the Centre attractions.
Bad Points, we was on the top floor (room 24) and it was an effort getting the children up but that’s expected if you book late. The beds was not very comfy but ok for 3 nights. The Main issue was parking as we had to park off site which costs £25 and was a walk away with the cases.
Overall we enjoyed the stay but we would ask for a different room if booking again.
Thanks.

First impressions of the premises were good, the bar area, lounge and dining area were clean and tidy and the decor was nice. Although it did get very hot and towards the end of the week smelt of fried food and needed some fresh air.
The staff were lovely and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful, well organised and had everything you could want, very tasty.
We had a family room, but there was limited space and it was difficult to dry towels as there was no space to hang them. There was some storage space of hangers and drawers.
The room was suitably clean, but as a quilt cover wasn't put on, there were stains on the quilt and not all were from people leaving wet towels on them.
Some effort should be made for general maintainance in the room - drawer handles came off, the toilet roll holder and toilet seat were loose, the electric shower leaked from the main unit and when you turned on the hot tap on, the whole thing moved. Light switches only had one screw so may be a hazard.
We wasnt aware of the £5 parking fee, but found free parking elsewhere.
Really Pleasant stay, Laura and her colleagues were all very welcoming and friendly and breakfast was great. would definitely look to stay here again for future visits
The owner let us park up and check in early as we we're booked in to see a show in the afternoon. Room was nice and clean and the breakfast was very good the next morning. I would definitely stay here again.
