"Like upmarket YHA Very noisy, no sound insulation from corridors noises, it feels like people are dragging a suitcase in your room. Nice to have a microwave in the room and access to a shared kitchen, though. There was fencing work done around the car parking area whilst there but we were not informed. The parking is only for 5/6 cars. "

"An early phone call on the day told us that there was a problem with the toilet flush! But the host was very amenable in giving us the choice of having the house next door instead if we wished. On arrival we chose the original booked house as it had a walk in shower rather than bath and managed to make the faulty flush system work. The communication for key code details was supposed to be 24 hours prior to check in but was only given on the morning. This did not give a feeling of certainty but all went ok in the end. All in all, the house was perfect for our needs (a group of friends attending an event). The house was clean and the beds comfy. Everywhere just need a bit of TLC, e.g. bathroom toilet, shower grouting etc."
