Overall everything was good, our only issue was after being there for a few days we noticed the toaster was full of crumbs, obviously not been emptied for quite some time, and the oven tray had not been cleaned after it had been used. We hadn’t met the owner, so decided it was easier just to clean them both before using them.
On the hole, everything else was excellent.
There was no recycling facilities, which was quite a surprise, and also a slight disappointment. Everything else was above standard, and extremely comfortable.
Upon arrival the host (s) were there to welcome us with a drink and to join in with their street party - it was the Queens Jubilee weekend!
The cottage itself was perfect and immaculate. The bed was also extremely comfortable, it was the best nights’ sleep we have both had in ages.
Off street parking on the drive was useful and plenty of space to move around in the cottage.
It was a fantastic stay overall, and would definitely return again if we were up that “neck of the woods”
Thanks again for your great hospitality Kate and Baines.
