Location perfect - 10 mins on train into central Birmingham. Staff very helpful, nice warm clean room and nice fresh cooked breakfast

The room was terrible hot! I slept with the window open as wide as possible and the curtains open so I could get a bit of air!
The sink wasn’t as clean as I would expect.
The bed was comfy and the shower warm. I needed a cheap room to sleep near conference venue, and this served me well. I was there less that twelve hours! Desk staff were very welcoming!!
Room was great, warm, comfortable, clean. Bed very comfortable, shower great. We were road side, that was noisy until after midnight. Didn’t realise there was a £5 charge for parking. Staff very friendly & helpful. Didn’t have breakfast.

Cricket Weekend Stay
A group of 4 of us were staying for the weekend to watch the cricket (T20 Finals Day) at Egdbaston. We arrived very late at about 11PM as we’d been in Central Birmingham for some drinks and something to eat. On our arrival, the 2 members of staff who were on reception, could not of been more welcoming and friendly. Very good service and even did us some food as we were still hungry. The rooms were very tidy and clean and the beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. The only negative was that the shower on the Saturday and Sunday mornings was luke warm at best. We did complain to reception and the member of staff was very apologetic and said she would report it to her management. Just a shame we couldn’t have a nice warm shower both mornings.
