「We had a day of king salmon fishing planned in the area, so we decided to stay in Soldotna for the night. We paid $234 for a double queen room. The room had several issues. The air conditioner rattled throughout the night, one of the mattresses sagged noticeably in the middle, and the door was difficult to close properly. On the positive side, the room was clean, the breakfast was great, and the staff accommodated an early check-in, which we appreciated. Would I stay here again? Probably not...

「This is a nice place to stay, conveniently located near the highway. Patrons should know that there is no front desk and the key must be picked up at a separate location prior to entering your room. Not a huge inconvenience, but it was unexpected. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. I slept well.」

「The lobby was very dirty, no elevator, inside entrance. When we entered the room it was very dated, the floors were dirty, garbage under the bed making it obvious that there had not been a thorough cleaning and there was a strange smell. We checked out immediately and although challenging because everywhere was booked found a B&B for our stay. The hotel clerk was helpful in checking out and they did not charge us.」
