「We stayed at Kasees on an Autumn mountain bike trip. Bed was super comfortable. Facilities were a bit dated but still very clean and in good order. Kitchenette served its purpose well. View was magnificent. Downsides- No secure storage area for bikes (external bike racks supplied) you need to bring your own locks. No parking allowed for dual cabs on-site (park in car parks and walk back to lodge). 」

The location of Knockshannoch is THE BEST in Charlotte pass - with guest services (ski hire and lift passes) just across the lane it is one of only a few places in Charlotte pass with a genuine ski in and ski out location. Highly practical ski storage and drying room in the entrance. Excellent food - not just breakfast (the Wotif listing was misleading when we booked) but three meals a day! Including a three course dinner prepared by a friendly chef who was happy to make...
