「Very friendly helpful staff and welcoming. Great service. Good choice for breakfast. The room was very spacious, warm and comfortable We had a swim in the pool, great facilities. We would definitely recommend staying here 」

「I grabbed a pillow from the wardrobe that was in a "clean" plastic bag, the pillow was infested with bed bugs as I got bitten on my head, neck, hands and arms. My wife, who was next to me, was not bitten, so I assume it was the pillow. Pls take necessary measures to clean.」

「Local parking available but not guaranteed dependent upon time of the day. If you arrive around 5pm should be ok. After 6 because of theatre 🎭 goers it gets fully occupied. 」

「No staff about when you needed them. Heating not working. Wasnt fixed when asked. Restaurant has been shut about 4 years, no food on site. Fire alarm went off at 4.45am and no staff on site. Fire brigade had to break in to reset alarm. Makes Fawlty Towers look like a 5 star! Dont be fooled by the pictures! Cheap and definitely not cheerful. Literally unable to contact anyone for a refund. 」

「The lodge and location was outstanding. Situated on Heron Lakes looking across one of the 6 lakes on site with stunning views. Great location to get to the coast and plenty to do on site with walked, bike trails and of course fishing! Great short break away and will be staying here again.
