Unfortunately our experience was not what my husband and I expected from Marriot , our room was not cleaned at all, with food stains on several walls, floors, carpet,bed backrest, nightstand, and bathroom door also. It seemed like former guests had some kind of party and cleaning crew did a poor job , seemed they only changed the bedsheets. Front desk sent a cleaning crew to our room at 11pm , Jared was very helpful and apologized. But definitely it was unpleasant experience. Will share pictures with management. We asked for another room, but it was not possible. On a good note, the food at restaurant was good, and staff were friendly.

Claudia,I'm sorry to hear about your disappointing experience at the Marriott. It sounds like the cleanliness standards fell far below what you expected, and I can understand how frustrating that must have been. It's good to hear that Jared was helpful and apologetic.Sharing your concerns and pictures with the management is a wise step. It helps them understand the severity of the issue and hopefully take steps to prevent similar occurrences in the future.It's great that you found some positives in the food and the friendly staff at the restaurant, but I can imagine that it didn't fully compensate for the inconvenience caused by the room situation. If you haven't already, you might consider reaching out to Marriott's customer service to express your concerns directly to them. They might be able to offer some form of compensation or assistance as a gesture of goodwill

Chose this hotel as it offered the right facilities and was within walking distance to the local parkrun (Kensington). Very friendly staff, parking and very large rooms make for a wonderful trip.

Way overpriced
The room and facilities are nice. But the extra expenses are over the top. $95 to bring a small dog. $20 to park. Breakfast extra. WiFi extra. Not even free coffee in the lobby. Nice place but way overpriced.

friendliest hotel I have ever...
I stayed at the Marriott Bethesda for 12 days. Everyone on the staff there was extremely helpful and always smiling and friendly. They even have complimentary washing and drying machines on the second floor. This hotel is very comfortable! The only thing missing are recycling options. Somewhere to throw all the plastic bottles, cans, glass bottles... very important in a hotel which obviously creates much trash, some which could be recycled to help save this earth...
