We stayed at this hotel to participate in the Berlin marathon and explore Berlin. This hotel was quiet and clean with friendly staff. There are tons of dining option sin the immediate area and it is very close to public transportation. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely choose this location again if we are in the Berlin area.

Great location in the city. Street is a little dirty, but that’s more a Berlin issue than this hotel. Wish I knew breakfast price before eating, but fair price for the variety of good food. Friendly staff. Smooth experience all around.

Wonderful place and close to transport

Wonderful place to stay. So close to Alexander Platz, the gateway to Berlin. You can get everywhere from here. Great service, great staff, and great restaurants around especially the Vietnamese restaurant. Would definitely recommend and will stay here time I come to Berlin in the future. Value for money.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Gold Palais and will definitely stay here again. The entire property is spotless and modern. All staff were very friendly and helpful. And the location is just steps from the tram, and easily walkable to Alexanderplatz when the weather is nice.

Excellent location. Clean, very quiet rooms. Only thing we missed was a small fridge. Breakfast was ok, little pricy but still good. Near by cafes will serve something also, but hotel was nice enough. Tram stop cross the street, two little markets just around the corner, AMAZING Vietnamise restaurant next door, walking right from hotel door you find best falaffel in town and cute cafes, organic market, pubs etc. And not far is Gasthaus Alt Wien!!! Best schnitzel we’ve ever had! Reservation must. Neighbourhood is cute, safe and fun. We would stay here again anytime.

Great price point that doesn't take cleanliness nor style for granted. A good Vietnamese and Turkish restaurant within 2 minutes of walking and a variety of cafes nearby as well. Quick access to a metro, and a 3-5 minute walk to a nearby park. Friendly staff, and good coffee.

Spacious and comfortable

The room was spacious and comfortable. Excellent shower and a powerful hairdryer too! Our room faced the main road with trams passing but the noise we heard was very minimal. Great location for public transport, walking distance to Alexanderplatz and a good bakery and small supermarket nearby. Check in was quick and easy and the staff were all very friendly.

Friendly hotel in a great location

Great location 100m to M4 tram stop, only a few stops from Alexanderplatz in one direction and Greifswalder Straße S-Bahn in the other. A short walk to the restaurants in Prenzlauer berg. Friendly staff that was available 24/7, clean and comfortable room, excellent breakfast (although at additional cost). Our train left late in the evening the day we checked out, but we could leave our bags in the luggage room and were welcome to hang out in the lobby after a full day of exploring Berlin, before leaving for the train. Would very much recommend this hotel! Only minor thing was that the family room was not made for a family when we arrived, but the friendly staff came up with additional bed linen and made the bed sofa for us.
