The property and staff are really good. However, the cell phone plugs next to my bed did not work and when I plugged my phone in overnight to recharge, ALL THE POWER GOES OUT WHEN YOU TURN OFF THE LIGHTS to sleep. MY PHONE WAS DEAD IN THE MORNING. It was a real issue. Also, no swimming pool.

2 Tage solo und 3 Tage zu zweit in Berlin
Schön rennoviertes Hotel im Zentrum und nahe der Shopping Meile am Kudamm. Direkt vor einem Park und deshalb trotz zentrumsnaher Lage sehr ruhig. Schöne Lobby mit guter Bar, Frühstück mit guter Auswahl und Restaurant mit kleiner Karte - aber sehr lecker. Das Zimmer ist ebenso neu rennoviert und sehr zweckmässig. Sauberkeit war ok, aber nicht perfekt, z.B. Haare in der Duschwanne. In der Junior Suite gibt es keinen Schreibtisch, obwohl so beschrieben (deshalb kaum geeignet für 2 Tage Hotel-Office). Leider hatten wir auch 2 Issues: 1) Zimmer war bei Ankunft total kalt, bis wir festgestellt haben, dass der Vorhang im Fenster eingeklemmt war und damit die Klimaanlage (welche auch als Heizung dient) nicht aktivierte. Reception hat jedoch schnell mit zusätzlichem Heizkörper aushelfen können, so dass das Zimmer nach 24h angenehm warm war. 2) Eine Service-Angestellte (Room Service) hat sich in unserer Minibar bedient und die angefangene Flasche auch noch stehen lassen ... (ein absolutes No-Go!). Fazit: gutes Hotel, mit sehr gutem Service an der Front (Reception, Restaurant, Bar) und leider der Hotel-Kategorie nicht entsprechendem Room-Service (Reinigung, Bereitstellung des Zimmers).

Great Central Location.
Great central location in a nice neighborhood. Previously stayed when the hotel was the Steigenberger, this hotel was a 5* and had better creatures comforts in the rooms. Breakfast was very overpriced at €32 per person, many great spots nearby for breakfast such as the KaDeWe and Enzo's. Staff were very attentive and gym is well equipped.

Best Hotel Experience of The Trip
We were blown away by the service at the hotel. There was a staff issue during our stay but they rectified it right away. We truly appreciated their hospitality. Mycket trevlig personal vid incheckning. Uppgraderade mig till ett tyst rum på vån 5 istället för vån 2. Mycket uppskattat! Lördag kväll i baren på hotelket. Beställde in ceasarsallad. Drygt 30 min kom maten. De hade glömt mig. Salladen var usel o kocken hade missat att lägga i bacon! Åt några tuggar, sa till barpersonalen att jag inte tänkte betala för maten. Mycket professionell personal! Behövde inte batala o de bjöd på glaset vin jag tog till maten. Eloge till dem!

Samassa rakennuksessa olemme majoittuneet (Steigenberger) muutaman kerran ennen remonttia, eikä sekään hotelli huono ollut, mutta kyllä nyt on noustu vielä pari pykälää ylöspäin erityisesti henkilökunnan ja yleisen viihtyvyden osalta. Tulemme uudestaan.

We chose the Doubletree because it was the former Steigenberger Hotel. The hotel has lost the personal touch. We had a room on the 5th floor and heard every person walking, talking, and celebrating on the street below (window closed) until the early morning hours (2/3 am). The breakfast buffet was incredible and the restaurant service was fine. The vallet was also very helpful. The rest of the staff was very cold and impersonal. We had daily cleaning but they never gave us new tea cups or glasses and only refreshed the tea once during our 4 night stay! A bottle of water which usually comes with the room costs 9€. The mini bar was completely empty and if you wanted anything in it you had to walk all the way to the reception area and fill it yourself. Our room happened to be a very long walk from the reception area with only one elevator down in the center of the hotel. The location isn't bad, but there are hotels located more centrally and closer to the Kudamm. For us, we will not be staying at the Doubletree again. Service was inadequate, housekeeping was inadequate and location was not exceptional.

Super beliggenhet
Hadde et fantastisk opphold. Stor god seng, kjempefint bad. Skal tydeligvis være nyoppusset. Kom sent på kvelden og ble møtt av en veldig hyggelig resepsjonist, innsjekkingen gikk raskt og vi fikk også med oss en varm cookie. Frokosten prøvde vi ikke da den ikke var inkludert, mange kafeer i nærheten. Treningsrommet var veldig bra! Et ganske dyrt hotell, men det er generelt dyrt å bo på hotell i Berlin. Synes det var verdt pengene. Utrolig sentralt med S banen og U banen i umiddelbar nærhet, sant enkelt å komme til flyplassen. Samt haugevis av butikker og restauranter i nærheten. Bor gjerne her igjen!

Excellent hotel. New. Launched two months ago. The rooms (regular) are small but comfortable. There is everything you need. The only downside is that there are no slippers or bathrobes. Cleaning is done daily and efficiently. There are breakfasts, for an additional fee, but I'm not a supporter of breakfast at the hotel, so I can't give an assessment. Very nice bar on the 1st floor. The bartender prepares excellent cocktails, even those that are not on the menu. The location of the hotel is excellent. There are many cafes and restaurants nearby. The only minus, the windows looked towards the park and either in the park, or in the night bar that was on the opposite side of the hotel at night there was a scream, but such that it was heard through the closed window. But this is not the problem of the hotel, but the municipality and the police that allow this. I RECOMMEND THE HOTEL AND I AM PLANNING TO VISIT IT AGAIN.

Brand new hotel in an „old shell“. What a fantastic transformation compared to the former Steigenberger Hotel Berlin. Bright and friendly rooms, even if the size is not standard. Very friendly staff and good food. Great location for the Western part of the city and only 10min by car to the East. Any time again .
