A cheap basic no thrills room but in an excellent location,train platform literally outside the hotel and Berlin central station less than a fifteen min walk, Hotel was clean also with the added bonus of a pub/restaurant next door and a supermarket directly opposite, It’s not the Hilton but it’s clean,cheap amd perfect for a few days

Nobody speaks English. Don’t answer emails even though they are translated to German. Hotels.com didn’t help with any of that either. Don’t stay here. And it needs removing from the site. They also charged me more on arrival than I was quoted. Not to be trusted.avoid

A lovely old building. You have your own shower, but you might have to share a bathroom (toilet in a separate room) with others.

A Very Pleasant Stay

Hotel was in a pretty convenient location, about a five minute walk from the Reichstag, and a ten minute walk from Brandenburg gate. There is a good quality restaurant/bar next door. The cleanliness of the room was fairly good, with clean sheets and towels, perhaps a clean of the mirrors and windows would make it perfect. A very good price for what you get. Staff were polite and helpful. There is a supermarket across the road for anything you may need. Would stay here again

The hotel is not recommended. The pictures shown on hotels.com are not from the hotel. There's no bar/ lounge, resraurant nor breakfast available at the hotel, despite all this being listed on hotels.com. If you today book a room at the hotel it's stated breakfast is available which is not true.

Never again!

It is not hotel at all! Several small rooms on one floor! Common shared toilets on the floor for several rooms! Russian speaking old ladies on the reception! Nobody is answering phone calls, nobody is naswering e-mail mesages ... Noisy neighborhood ... NEVER AGAIN!

Uncomfortable Bed

I could not find the light switch, if there was one for the steep staircase to the room. The bed was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in. The mattress had no padding and had deep horizontal ridges the length of it, the duvet was barely adequate. The only positive was although very dated the shower had plenty of hot water.

We arrived after dark and there were no lighted signs to identify the property. No instructions as to how to contact reception. Very tiny, almost hidden buzzer which a passer by helped us find. Receptionist very abrupt and unfriendly. Room was not what we paid for - gave us a choice of room with no hot water or room with shared toilet. Refused refund for room we booked with private bath. Said hot water tank not working. Open shower in bedroom, not a separate bathroom. Hallways and floors dirty and poorly lit. Very noisy gatherings right below our windows each night until 3am. We paid a huge price for very poor accommodations. DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE! It was worse than any hostel we’ve ever stayed in. This is not a hotel!!
