Really lovely property in a good area. Variety of shops within easy walking distance. Great communication and self check in available. Great room and very clean. Will definitely be staying here when I'm in Berlin again next year!

My stay at Nena Apartments was terrific. I am returning in a month. My room was clean, the bed was firm and comfortable, and the kitchenette was well equipped. When I reserved the room, I was concerned by pictures of the neighborhood in Google Maps; it looked as though there were no services. I found, however, that I could buy fresh brötchen every morning. There was a green grocer, a convenience store, and several restaurants. Access to transit was also convenient.

Great location and easy check in. Friendly and helpful staff. Easy to do laundry using the app. Walkable to many of the main sites, some great neighborhood restaurants. Easy access to transit and the 24 h day pass was easy to download and use.

Good value for the money, affordable neighborhood with all services extremely close. The apartment was clean and modern, everything was well organized. There is some construction work going on near the backyard but we were able to sleep well anyway in the mornings. In the evenings it’s quiet and you can have the big windows open. I recommend highly.

Berlin Stay

Smaller than I had anticipated but clean and compact. It was quiet apart from the building work going on outside during the daytime but not really a problem as I was out for most of the day. The bed was comfortable and kitchen area had everything I needed. Loved the tiny dishwasher.

Nena apartments are a low cost means to an end. They offer a quiet place to sleep which is generally fairly clean and comfortable. Bedding is basic but acceptable. The kitchenette had the things you needed. The bathroom had an odd smell but I think that was the body wash they provided you with - similar to a coal tar/smoke smell. An in-room safe would be a plus.

Nice appartment in a good area. Unfortunately, we didn't receive any email prior to arrival regarding how to get in to the building, so it was stressful when the door was locked and nobody answered the phone. Luckily the phone was answered at our second call and we were guided on how to get in.

Location is great, really handy for Kreuzberg and Bergmannkiez which has great bars, restaurants and cafes. Also perfectly placed for the U-Bahn to connect to wherever you might want to go! Apartment itself was really spacious and comfortable, and given it’s location super quiet. Would definitely come back!

We just stayed for one night. Check in and check out was very easy. All in all, it was really great. Only comment is the curtain was too small in our room, only covering half of the window - maybe the other half was missing? :-) But fortunately, the outdoor shutter (used for the sun) was fine enough to provide privacy and darkness.

The property is in a convenient location for walking to restaurants, U-Bahn to museums, and grocery shops. Laundry in basement has to be paid for online, which takes a bit to figure out. Bathtub had a weird soft surface. Lighting in the room wasn’t great. Little kitchenette was convenient—even a little dishwasher. Noise from street was a lot, but some units do face courtyard. Staff was helpful, but they have limited daytime hours and don’t arrive until 10 am.
