「I booked a room on short notice and only needed a place to sleep. The accommodations were moderate and the price was not too high ($114.00) after some discounts. It was late April and it was in the 50's outside. The heater barely worked and stayed very cool all night. It had no carpet, just tile, so it was cold to walk on. 「The room I had was okay. Room was old but shower was remodeled. Beds are on metal springs and noisy. My room did not have a security lock on it. There was a bug on my bed when I got in. For me I did not have a pleasant night. I only needed the room to sleep and shower due to the reason why I was in town.」

I have to be honest at 1st i thought it was a little sketchy, since i booked through 1 motel and when i called to confirm they couldn't find my reservation at 1st but eventually did. Then i was told i had to check in at a different motel to get the key to the house. 「The Lamplight, as always, was spotless and well-maintained. The location can’t be beat- a block from the beach and super close to restaurants, shops and bars. My only wish is that each room would be supplied with its own Keurig. One of the treats of staying in a motel is waking up and having a coffee in your bedroom before you even get dressed. While coffee is available at the motel, I’d be happier not having to go outside and sometimes downstairs to get my morning caffeine fix!」
