The best place we stayed in Belize !
We booked for one night and we decided to stay for 2.
The owners are so friendly, they did everything they can in order to help us to arrange our tours.
They dropped us at the pickup point, and made sure the tour guide will bring us back to the property.
They are preparing super delicious food for breakfast and for dinner, lots of food!
We had lovely conversations, they have unique rescuing birds project in the property, just amazing to watch it.
The property is Beautiful, it sits on a large land, very clean, safe, full with trees, and the river is crossing the yard.
Lots of birds flying around all day long, in the property they have few cabins with big distance between them you will not feel your neighbors.
The room is spacious, clean, quiet, with big shower, wifi, AC, water, shampoo, soap, conditioner, towels.
In the room we found a book they prepared with a lot of useful information for anyone who is traveling in Belize, recommendations etc.
Highly recommended place to stay!!
The best place we stayed in Belize due to the way the owners takes care for their guests.

Jerry and Nicki are top notch down to earth people. They are very personable and accommodating. We showed up in a taxi with no time to eat dinner. After we arrived and got settled in they gave us a ride to town so we could have dinner. They went above and beyond for us. The property is homey and beautiful. We HIGHLY recommend staying at this amazing place!

I went to Rock Farm to experience the Bird Rescue efforts and to enjoy the expansive grounds after a busy 3-week tour throughout Central America. Nikki & Jerry have created an outstanding location where they cater to the needs of a variety of injured and rehabilitating birds from the area.
They have a binder full of options for their guests to select and they help book the events and even offer a lift to meet the tour guide nearby. I thoroughly enjoyed the bountiful dinners during my stay and the other guests who joined the meal were fascinating and well traveled.
My Hummingbird room was very clean and well appointed. I enjoyed walking around the grounds and seeing all the varied bird life everywhere I turned. I definitely got my bird fix during my stay and I happily donated additional funds to support their efforts. They are doing a masterful job and they deserve any and all support that patrons can give.

Welcoming hosts. Very helpful in picking us up from the bus station and getting us to our next destination. It’s a wonderful bird sanctuary. Be prepared for loud birds at 5:00am.

Bird lovers paradise!
Jerry and Nikki run a beautiful place! It is so close to everything but yet you feel miles away! Their property is superb for birding and relaxing. Everything was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed this stay soooo much I would highly recommend it to anyone! We will be back!!!!

off the beaten path
We had a delightful time at Rock Farm Guest house! Outside of Belmopan about a mile, this bird sanctuary allowed us to see many parrots that will one day be back in the wild. Jerry and Nicki were great hosts, and could answer all our questions about places to see, things to do on the Belize mainland. Take at least one meal with them, and sit together with the other guests for a fantastic time of talking together, getting to know them and the other guests. Walk the grounds, watch them feed the birds, and be on the porch in the morning to see the birds come by. One humble request: a refrigerator to keep food and drinks cold. We would definitely recommend Rock Farm Guest house!

Incredible Hideaway y Bird Experience!
Beautiful setting, I was able to see 177 birds (maybe more), eat breakfast while Parrots, & other birds flew by. I enjoyed a view of the natural Belize flavor on the edge of Belmopan. This was convenient, so I could carry out my business there and beyond. Jerry and Niki are informed people, who care are off the charts about birds(in a positive way), and they are terrific hosts. My chalet was respectfully clean and handsomely equipped for a comfortable stay. They are very informative and my needs were met, even while I was getting over a virus! So I was in rehab. like many of the birds, but I left rested! Breakfast and lunch dinner were very good!
Note: Internet and rain, come and go in Belize but they are regular in October.

A special place
The Rock Farm Guest House a beautiful home in the Belizean countryside near Belmopan. The hosts, Jerry and Nikki are extremely hospitable and welcoming. It is also the home of Belize Bird Rescue, an effort by Jerry, Nikki and volunteers to rehabilitate reintroduce into the wild birds that have been injured of abandoned, often by owners who do not know how to care for them. They have a clinic and cages throughout the farm that they use to progressively heal injuries, re-accustom birds to live with other birds and orient them away from living with humans so that they can be released into the wild.
During our stay, they arranged for us to tour their facilities and we were free to wander and admire these beautiful animals.
The location was lovely, the room comfortable, the hosts warm and helpful and we were surrounded by beautiful tropical birds during our stay. Truly a unique experience.

Bird sanctuary guest house!!
Amazing slice of paradise. First it's a bird sanctuary so there are wonderful college interns around taking care of all the injured birds. There is a wide array of birds to see. Lots of parrots woodpeckers owls herons toucans. There are paths all over the property for walking around and an amazing water wheel in the river at a pond perfect for swimming. Really close to belmopan if you want to explore it grab food but the hosts make an excellent dinner and breakfast. Jerry and Nikki are so friendly and accommodating I felt like we were best friends right off the bat. Their house is beautiful and the rooms clean and cozy. They will also help you with trips. They are usually very busy with the birds but not hard to track down if you need anything. I really loved this place!!

Truly lovely place to stay
The house and rooms were surprisingly of high standard for what you normally find in Belize. Our room was large and tastefully decorated. The ensuite was lovely and spacious. It had a huge jacuzzi bath and seperate shower area.
The property is in a nice location, set in its own grounds,which is actually a bird sanctuary, but it's still very near to shops and other facilities. It's only 10-15 minutes drive to the Belmopan Town centre
The owners were pleasant and made us feel at home. It is also their home.
The only downside to our stay was the early morning chorus of birds. about 6am we were woken by very very loud sound of birds.Fortunately we needed to be up early anyway. It's not the place to stay if you want to sleep late in the morning. The night before we had requested breakfast for 8am as we had a meeting to attend. I had to remind the owner at 8.20am that we had wanted to leave by 8.30am. He promptly got breakfast ready and we did get to our meeting on time. I've only mentioned this because one of the main reasons why we chose the hotel, was because we wanted a nice cooked breakfast, served in time for us to eat without rushing to our meeting.
We would highly recommend the place and would stay there again. We'll give them a second chance to get breakfast ready on time. Maybe if we got fed before the birds, the timing would have been spot on.
