"This hotel is beautiful. Very old Hollywood. Recently stayed for a weekend. The staff was lovely. The Valet service was spectacular. The room was spotless clean. The bathrooms are lovely. I will say the shower is small but worked for what it was needed for. Mattress and pillow were comfortable. Old world charm at it's finest. The restaurant, which we had breakfast, had a great selection of food. There is an adorable pool table room and library off of the lobby that is inviting and relaxing. The people at the front desk on check in and check out were outstanding. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. "

"Hotel is in a great location. The Arch is right around the corner and Busch Stadium was about 3 blocks away. Room was very spacious and the Brew House restaurant was a little pricey but very good."

"The outside of the building was so bad that the garbage was everywhere falling out of the garbage cans. We went to the rooms it was two rooms and one room had nets in the bathrooms and the tv didn’t work nor the remotes were working. We were too scared to eat the breakfast nor did we take showers. The rooms weren’t clean was scared to sleep. We saw baby roaches, and I WILL NEVER STAY AT ANOTHER QUALITY INN & SUITES OR ANY PROPERTY FOR CHOICE HOTELS. I WHICH I COULD SHOW YOU THE PICTURES. "

"The breakfast was fresh, hot, and delicious. Various choices from cinnamon rolls and pancakes to cheese omelettes and sausage to cereal and yogurt. The room was clean. "

"Our stay at the Pennywell was great! We arrived before checkout but we were able to leave our bags at the front desk so we could explore. We were in town for Opening Day and the hotel was very close to the stadium, which was great. It is also super close to the Arch as well. Lots of food options around the hotel to check out. Room was clean and well kept. Although, our view was less than desirable as our window faced a brick wall but, we spent most of our time in St. Louis out and about. But, if thats important to you, you might want to request a specific room. Overall, great stay and I'd stay again if we went back to St. Louis!"

"Was here with 3 other couples for 2 nights. Didn’t clean our rooms. Couldn’t get clean towels to shower before we left. None of us!!!! Front desk didn’t tell us had to use room key to go up the elevator. So after going up and down, someone finally told us how. Front desk was not very professional. None of us will ever stay here again!!"
