"Giuseppe and his little bed and breakfast was a breath of fresh air! I recommend staying in a little town near the “main 3” Lake Como cities. Lierna was a perfect place to stay. "Great property, just a 15 minute walk from the Bellano restaurants, shops, passenger boats. Only a 5 minute walk to the train station. The suite was very comfortable and newly renovated. The staff was amazing: Mateo, Jessica and Deborah. They were happy to help us book train tickets and other events. That was so helpful since we don’t speak Italian. Their English was great. Breakfast each morning was delicious and very convenient. I enjoyed a cocktail each night as well. A comment about the bathroom in our suite: There is no privacy when using the toilet. The door is see through glass, so you will need to have a “don’t look”agreement with your spouse. I found it odd, but it didn’t prevent us from enjoying. Parking is challenging. We had a rental car. You can just hand your keys to Mateo and he will park your car for you. If you don’t need a car, just take the train to Bellano to get there. Its an easy walk."
