「We had a lovely stay at the Marquis, our suite was lovely and had a private west facing balcony so we watched a lovely sunset over the river. Dinner was excellent, as was the wine, highly recommended. Staff were all really friendly and helpful.」

「A business trip and had a commercial meeting at ESSAX suite, everything was well! Service was nice, restaurant offers typical British breakfast. Only a problem, the air conditioner will be re-set to the low temperature randomly. 」

「Beautiful rustic guest house with original interior furnishings, like going back in time. Do not stay here if you expect something like a travelodge!! Facilities were fine, decent WiFi and shower, and host very helpful and makes breakfast for visitors 」

「The gentleman running the inn was warm and friendly, helpful too as I had direction troubles for an event and so he googled it and printed it and for the next day I got there. A very homely comfortable feeling I thought. If I'm ever back in the area I will stay there again.」

「Absolutely wonderful but we did have the best room (The Kings Suite) The only thing I would say is the windows need cleaning as the sun was beaming in the morning and it showed them up terribly. But everything else was just amazing from the suite to the art, and all the interest around racing. Breakfast was lovely too. 」
