"This was such a great stay, one of our favorites in Portugal. The hotel is beautiful and quaint, and the breakfast buffet was excellent. Patio bar was a great place for drinks and food too. The little shops, restaurants, annd walking the castle wall were all so amazing! Only downfall is you have to park in the parking lot, which is a fair distance away, and wheel your luggage uphill on the stone walkways."

The breakfast is one of a kind: the selection and variety, freshness of baked goods, fruits, deserts, and spread is one of a kind. Their dining room staff with the dedicated leadership of Carlotta is at the highest levels of hospitality. We thoroughly enjoyed the incredible new 12 course tasting menu one evening. The indoors and out door pools are inviting with a spa-like atmosphere. The front desk staff is eager to assist, including loading and unloading luggages. Nothing but the best to say - this hotel is a gem."

The food was so tasty, and the chied accommodated our dietary needs of kosher in the most professional way. the level of service was outstanding overall. we did the yoga experience which I would recommend to first timers and the most avid fans. enjoy it is a great hotel"

"This is a great hotel close to many great attractions and dining opportunities. Staff were very helpful and the rooftop bar was great. Be aware that parking is underground across from the property and you need a code to scan for the garage. That might be one improvement they could consider, sending the bar code by email so that you don't have to go to the hotel before parking. Other than that detail it was great all around."
