Layover Hotel
Mostly used as a layover hotel, seems most others also only stayed for one night.
The key thing that this hotel has going for it is its location. Less than 5-mins walk to Sophie Church, 5-10mins walk to ZhongYang DaJie, and about 15-mins to the cable car terminal. The hotel is tired, dated, and is more basic than European Ibis hotels (no shower tray for example)
Not completely clean, and the odd flooring in the bathroom did not help with this
Did not eat at the restaurant. No bathroom facilities outside of guest rooms
Service at the front desk was average at best, with a lack of real focus on customer service (very transactional)
I would probably look to stay further away from Sophie Church and walk up next time - the location didn't really warrant the poor quality hotel, especially at the prices that were charged

Affordable and close to PEK Airport
We stayed her for 1 night, because it was close to the airport and an hour and half away from the Great Wall. We were collected from the airport by the hotel shuttle driver, no additional cost. We arrived after 11pm; it was a quick 20 minute ride. The hotel staff were polite and helpful, despite speaking very little English. They did not contact us prior to check-in (like all other hotels have). Luckily our Great Wall tour guide was bilingual and called the hotel to arrange our pick up time from the airport. There was a small store with snacks and beverages in the lobby. The driver of the shuttle showed us to our rooms and carried a bag. The hallways had a strange odor (I believe it was in the carpet), but the room smelled fine. There were hardwood floors with shower shoes and slippers to wear for one person. The A/C came with a remote that we could not read, but after about 10 minutes of pressing buttons we were able to adjust the temperature comfortably. The room was clean, quiet and cozy for sleeping. The bathroom needs updating. There was a waterfall and regular shower heads. They both ran regardless of us turning the nobs to switch one off. We did not find any English TV channels other than the BBC news. We did not have breakfast, because we checked out early for our tour. I think this hotel would be hard to find in a taxi or driving by oneself, since Google cannot be used in the country. The driveway entrance is a bit eerie, but I felt safe with the hotel staff.
I think this hotel would be okay if you speak Chinese and need a hotel near the airport. Unfortunately, service was poor. The staff spoke no
English whatsoever. They were understaffed so the receptionists multiple times had to be rude and just walk away while helping us.
When we arrived, our room wasn't ready so we had to wait for it to be cleaned. The room was a bit dirty throughout the stay.
On the plus side, they have a complimentary shuttle to the airport.
Hotels facilities can be outdated or simple but for this one it is old, dirty, staff don't speak English, demand me to tell them "Chinese" name which I never had. Most surprising they demanded to open my suitcase and search through it in order to check me in :(
