「We experienced a problem and our only option was to leave a message. The problem did eventually get fixed but we NEVER heard from anyone. The trout stream however was close, picturesque and fun to fish! And the cabin was nice and room for 4. Id happily rent there again.」

The surrounding yard is fairly rough and cabins are older but well maintained inside. Nice to have a hot tub in the unit but it does make it a bit humid and warm. 「I can’t speak highly enough about this little gem of a place on the beautiful Fall River. Conveniently located near Rocky Mtn Ntl Park and Estes Park, Castle Mountain Lodge is the perfect stay. We rented a room, but hope to come back and rent a cabin with our whole family. The staff is delightful and helpful, and the entire place is beautiful, well kept, and we just can’t wait to return next summer!」

Had elk walk through the property while we were there! Check in and out was fantastic and the price was reasonable! They have a storage room we had 24 hour access to with most our needs. 「The staff was lovely and kind. The main pool and our hot tub were both really well maintained and clean. The carpet in the cabin had really large stains which were very unsightly. There was a great deal of dust on the furniture and ledges. The most disappointing aspect was that the wifi was down for most of our stay and I needed to work over the week. This made my work a challenge. Overall though it was a lovely vacation and we enjoyed ourselves. Everyone is so friendly.」

「This is a cute little get away. The kitchen is not practical to cook in other than warming up leftovers but way better stocked than a hotel room. The bathroom is tiny but very modern with a steam shower. It was in the 80’s in the afternoons when we stayed and the a/c unit had a difficult time keeping the room cooled.
