Horrible

There was a huge bug on the desk and the bathroom ceiling had caved in with a mess all over the toilet and floor! We immediately checked out and they would not give us a refund for that night.There were some scruffy looking guys cooking over a portable grill in the parking lot. One of the desk workers looked like she was dressed for mardi gras.

You get what you pay for...

I don't expect a 5 star hotel when I'm trying to say money and only spend $50 a might. Its better then a Motel 6 or some shady off-brand hotel, but certainly not a Holiday Inn. That being said - my stay wasn't the greatest, but I was just there to sleep after being out all day. What little I did notice was the molding around the doors in the bathroom could use some serious cleaning. The same could be said about the tub and the small holes in the ceiling. We asked for more towels, and they played it like they only had 2 left in the entire hotel. Your a hotel, you don't have extra towels? The floor felt damp and the room smelled damp every time we returned to it. The plug on the nightstand between the bed did not work so the alarm clock and lamp did not work. The remote was missing the back and the batteries were dead. There are no flat screens here, just the old tube style TVs. As for the surrounding neighborhood, its secluded by trees so there wasn't alot going on. One night, someone was making it a point to bang on the door everytime they walked by. Maybe the 'Do Not Disturb' tag is a invitation? Had some yelling/playing going on in the hallway between adults for several hours but thankfully they stopped before 10. I dont understand why the hotel staff didn't do anything about it. The front desk ws RIGHT there. All in all - you get what you pay for. Not a bad place to just crash if you need to at the end of a long day.

It was quiet, staff was very helpful. Microwave oven in room did not heat.But everything else was worth the money.

Waking up to coffee was a joke. Coffee pot broke. Got stuck in bathroom. Handle broke :) No coffee in lobby. Asked to mAke some. She said come back in 15 minutes. Came back. She was so overloaded with check outs she couldn't. I made coffee but couldn't drink any. Had to leave. Need help on weekends for customers.

Ok for an overnight stay

Just needed a place to stay overnight before a long drive so it was ok for that. Wouldn't stay there longer. Neighborhood and clientele were sketchy. Staff was very nice and accommodating.

Rooms were a bit not as clean

The first room was ok though there was a wet spot on the carpet in our room. And the room across from us there was a small dog that wouldn't quit barking. Do give the manager who let us worked with us and let us change rooms.

Smoke smell greets you at the front entrance. Hotel staff hang out a lot. Windows real dirty. Room was clean and had new carpet.

STAY AWAY!!

For the love of GOD stay away from this hotel. There were hookers in the lobby and they were selling drugs in the room right beside us. The AC did not work and the entire room was falling down. After 20 years in the military and 2 combat tours in Iraq, this place actually scared me more than Iraq did.

Decent Stay

It's a good stay for a passer-by just looking for a hotel through the area. Rooms are decent - need upgrading, and furniture is a little worn down, but otherwise a good stay.

great will use again

enjoyed the friendliness and courteousness of owner and staff, made you really feel welcome, room was nice, bathroom a little small but overall value was great. will use again. had a great breakfast and a pool but it was raining so we didn't use it at the time.

Clean, comfortable, reasonable price

The outside of the building could a little more work, but it wasn't run-down looking. There isn't any apparent plan to use the check-in lanes for actually checking-in as the same two vehicles that were parked in the lanes when I arrived were still parked in the lanes when I left. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and all access is through secure doors. Room is low on amenities, but I don't expect much either when I'm looking for rooms that are less than $80/night. Breakfast was standard: coffee, juices, milk, bagels, dry cereals, microwave oatmeal, fruits, and do-it-yourself waffles (in the shape of Texas: cute). Overall nice place to stop for the night if you're on the road.

Very friendly, and helpful staff. Very clean and professional lobby area. Complimentary Breakfast was well supplied and very good selection of food and drinks.

Very dirty hotel

The hotel sent us to a room that hadn't been made up, then sent us to a second room WHERE GUESTS WERE SLEEPING. The third room was ready and unoccupied, but the smell was horrible.

QUIET ON THE HIGHWAY

Good sound insulation. I had a room near the front and could not hear traffic on I-10 all night. Large comforatable room.

Think Twice Before Picking this Hotel

It was pretty bad. First thing I noticed was blood on the wall in the bathroom. Also on the wall in the shower. Crumbs in the jamb of the refrigerator. Overall (hopefully) the only thing that appeared clean were the sheets. It was the cheapest and I could find in the immediate area and although I preapred myself for what may come, I was STILL surprised at the nastiness of the location, the hotel and the room.

My daughter was stranded on the highway and I was in Houston. I called several hotels and the reception was not good. I spoke with the representative regarding this hotel and she was very helpful and pleasant and my daughter was booked before she got out of the car. She stated she slept like a baby. Thank you very much.
