"Lovely pool, great shuttle service to and from city centre (although not always frequent), and the room had great aircon. Not the most modern hotel but is nicer than lots of others we could find in area for similar price. Location is good if you want to be out of centre but it does mean you’re reliant on transport to get there - or prepare yourself for a long, sweaty walk! Breakfast was a bit hit and miss sometimes (scrambled eggs really watery). Friendly and helpful staff. Cocktails at the pool were overpriced and not strong. Overall a good stay. 7.5/10."

"This hotel is absolutely gorgeous. And the staff went above and beyond during our stay. Beautiful property overlooking the cliff right on the ocean. Breakfast was amazing. The room was not that comfortable. Beautiful, but not comfortable. The shower did not have a way to stop the water from leaking out, so every shower ended with water all over the bathroom floor. The room was very very tight and small. We prefer a little more space to be able to put our suitcases. We stayed here 3 nights. Access to the port was fantastic for ferries each day!! There is no beach or beach club access, but it is very close if you wish to pay for a beach club day. There is a public beach not far from the property, but the beach in this area is not the nicest. Positano and capri were nicer areas to access the beaches. Hotel location was perfect. Although this hotel is right on the ocean/cliff, it has very few views of the ocean. Only occasional windows to see out of. The property is mostly facing their garden, which is beautiful, but we wanted more ocean views for the price we paid."

"Hotel Plaza is in an ideal location…close to everything!! The staff is extremely friendly and super accommodating. We decided to stay another night and they were able to upgrade us to a larger room overlooking one of the main streets with a balcony. The morning breakfast buffet is AMAZING! The most delicious buffet we’ve ever had at a hotel. They also provide all of the amenities you could imagine in the rooms and the bed is super comfortable. The rooftop pool is even more beautiful than the online photos with a stunning view of Mount Vesuvius. We recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sorrento!"

"Beautiful hotel with an amazing view! It was hot in Sorrento and we really appreciated the excellent air conditioning! The staff provided us with a breakfast to-go box when we had to leave for the airport at 5:30am! (We didn’t even think to ask for one!). The pool area was busy because it a well maintained pool. Breakfast was very good (especially the eggs and Brie). The staff was helpful and friendly."
