We had a great time 2nd time here we had the rooms with the jacuzzi bath absolutely loved
Nice staff clean room nice food good entertainment and drinks wasn’t overly expensive either
We stay here when we visit family and always chose the spa bath rooms, we love the room and it’s clean, warm, well equipped and very comfortable. The only negative we found this time was the room has started to look in need of a refresh. The walls are marked, there was damage to the mirror, canvas, frame on bathroom window. This is no reflection on the hotel it’s clearly been disrespectful customers but it does spoil the room a little as it’s always been immaculate. We will still be back as always.
The room was very clean & stylish!
Quite warm, with the windows open the seagulls can be quite a noisy bunch but no fault of the hotels.
Very comfortable room & great service.
Absolutely beautiful hotel the staff was all very polite and welcoming me and my husband both loved the room very modern decor it was very clean and smelt lovely on arrival the spa bath in the room was perfect we stayed the Easter weekend we also had food and drinks downstairs in the restaurant the food was delicious and a fantastic range of drinks and cocktails we will definitely be returning again thank you for a fantastic stay
Great hotel in barrow
Fast check in and check out.
Stayed in the Dalton suite massive room very clean. Comfortable bed.
Bar on the ground floor with a good DJ on a Saturday night.
Food was reasonably priced and made to a high standard.
Absolutely beautiful room tastefully decorated and so comfortable.
Large bathroom with shower and jacuzzi type bath in living area.
Massive comfortable bed nice pillows
Downstairs the bar offers friendly staff coupled with exceptional food and beers at reasonable prices .
Overall lovely place to visit and I’m sure I will next time in Barrow in Furness

Comfortable but would like breakfast and microwave
Lovely warm greeting on arrival with the Portuguese female in reception. Room was more than comfortable enough, great location for work. No mornjng breakfast facilities which was a shame but you could order continental to be delivered to your room the night before. Easy access to the rooms. I would have liked a microwave as part of the kitchenette, just a toaster and kettle. Overall I had a very comfortable stay and would stay again.

Liked: Staff & service, amenities
The staff were really friendly and approachable.
The rooms weren’t as clean as I would have liked.
However, the decor was really really nice.
It was quite loud due to it being a Saturday so when people were coming in and out of the bar it was noisy. This didn’t bother us too much but worth knowing if you are a light sleeper, etc.
the breakfast was ok, but not really worth the extra money for it.
The property was very clean, modern and tidy. We really enjoyed our stay, the room had everything we needed and it was comfortable. My only negative was the jacuzzi bath, the bath itself was clean but when you turned on the jets loads of black stuff come flying out so I'm guessing the jets never get cleaned and are full of mould, skin, oils etc so i would never use one of those again but my overall experience was lovely just stick to the gorgeous shower or i guess don't turn on the jets in the bath.
Only had one towel in room for two people, mentioned this to reception multiple times before getting a second towel.
Also, tea and coffee provided in room but with only enough milk for 3/4 cups of tea/coffee and milk not replenished by housekeeping (had to buy our own milk).
Continental breakfast was a bit disappointing and breakfast could be served in the restaurant or in the morning instead of being left/delivered to room the night before.
The room and hotel are really nice and the restaurant /bar is exceptional and we enjoyed our stay. Despite these little things, we will be back soon. Thank you.
The staff were helpful in getting us checked in, there was a google wallet pass provided to help if you used the restaurant, the room (6) was modern and clean ,with good facilities, (fridge, kettle, toaster), a good sized double bed and a great shower. However, the room temperature was unbearably hot. The thermostat showed 28 degrees most of the time, with the radiators off and both windows open as far as they would open, 10degrees outside and with a tower fan running it still proved impossible to cool the room. It felt hospital type hot and even sleeping with no covers on the bed it was still uncomfortable. Additionally, the green emergency lighting which was on all of the time in the room was so bright as to provide almost a night light and so it was not possible to get fully dark in the room for sleeping.
We loved the facilities of the room but without a way to get hot air out and cool air into the room we cannot envisage ever staying at the Town house again,
