「What a lovely find , spend only one night but I was very impressed , the bar garden is delightful , my room was very comfortable with lots of room . Dinner and wine were on the expensive side , but worth it for a treat . Will definitely stay again if I’m in the area !」

「It was an old characterful building with many original features. It was evident from the certificates and photos around the place that it had been a hotel & restaurant of note with award winning credentials. It isn’t a shiny glitzy hotel but equally the decor was quite tired and patched up in places. 「Restaurant for breakfast was really good, tables not too close together. Rooms well looked after with extra items, little coffee machine and planty of choice of teas. Hot weekend so could have done with a fan. Only thing I would suggest is to make signage for reception clearer when arriving from the rear car park. The sign over the door was overgrown...」

「Budget hotel made excellent by super helpful owners/staff. Very kind and helpful people who were happy to help me with hair dryer, cell phone charger for out of country Travellers. No elevator but they carried my suitcase to the room for me. Very nice people made my stay lovely. Decent breakfast and they accommodated my vegetarian diet.」
