Very characterful property in the old town. We had the ground floor economy room, which was fairly small but was quiet and cool with the shutters. Excellent value for money and friendly staff.

The room was very nice and close to all the shops and restaurants. However,we were on the first floor next to street and it’s very noisy all night. There’s a shared refrigerator on the top floor, so you have to walk up 5 floors. It would be better to have a small refrigerator in the room.

Beautiful apartment situated in the heart of Bari old town. The B&B was extremely clean and run by a lovely family. The stay felt very safe and comfortable, I’ll be returning.

The lady who runs this property is so friendly and helpful. The property is so clean and you have your room cleaned daily. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to be based in the old town. I would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay whilst in Bari, right in the Old Town and not too far from the train station. Lots of bars and cafes on the doorstep. Room was very clean with a/c. Host was really friendly and nothing seemed too much trouble.

There was no contact with the owner prior to arrival . So when we finally arrived a man down the road helped us. He found a woman , the sister , who spoke no English and made me wait while she made endless phone calls . There was a big problem but I still don’t know what it was . She finally took us to our room. I thought I had booked a room with a balcony as is in the photos . But it was ground floor. The sink and the shower drains were both blocked . It was adequate and clean but basic and expensive compared to where we have been and stayed . On our last night the owner come to our door after 8 pm . There was no ‘hello’ . She just asked for payment . I would even say she was rude . She had no English but used the phone translator , thats ok . She sent a very big man down to our room and I paid him . I have had 14 days of lovely people and experiences but this was not one . The location is right in the middle of the old town , but I would recommend you sacrifice that for some pleasantries.

Great stay in Bari

Not great.

I read a review warning about the stairs but was not prepared for climbing many flights on very narrow stairs. Had a room with Windows on a street with noise well into the evening and then construction work early in the morning. This is s B&B but breakfast was a coffee and croissant in the cafe across the street.

This is really an amazing place in the best part of Bari. In the middle of Old Town, where you would want to be! Sara is also incredible and really goes out of her way for you. When I arrived a bottle of water had leaked in my black purse and I was wearing white pants. The purse was completely soaked and my white pants black. She took it immediately for me, dried my purse and washed my pants and got it all out. While we were exploring the city, Very kind of her. She has different rooms, upstairs …. Where also the rooftop terrace is (views!!!!) and on the ground floor. We had the one on the ground floor and absolutely loved it. Very convenient and clean. Sara does not speak English but still it works very well with a translate app on her phone. Was no problem at all! Her whole family (also husband and son) were very helpful and telling us were to go etc etc. If we go back to Bari I would definitely stay here again and recommend you do too!!! Thanks a lot for a wonderful stay in Bari!

Stanza e bagno super puliti. Stanza che vedeva un po’ di mare. Prezzo assolutamente in linea con quanto offerto. Posizione in Bari vecchia molto comoda per raggiungere qualsiasi posto (in centro). Comoda anche per i mezzi per l’aeroporto (10/15 minuti a piedi dalla stazione - 5/10 per le fermate centrali del bus). Via silenziosa. Gli elementi “scomodi” sono comuni al 99% di Bari vecchia - scale strette ecc. I proprietari abitano al primo piano il che rende facile check-in, check-out e qualsiasi informazione di cui si abbia bisogno. Persone gentili e disponibili.

Walking old streets

This is really a guest-house. There are no hotels in Old Bari, which is an historic, charming section of the city. The Basilica of San Nicholas and the Cathedral are both located here. It has cobblestone streets. Don’t look for fancy. It has a unique quality. The owners of the B&B were gracious and accommodating, even when I told them I would be late.
