Great location, extremely helpful and nice staff. My only complaint was the cleanliness. The showers had mold in them and the drain had not been cleaned and was full of hair so it was not draining.

Perfect place to stay

The room was spacious and clean with great natural light. Staff/Camille was terrific. Very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. Great shower. Great location.

Excellent customer service - the staff were friendly, gracious and flexible. The room was much larger than expected with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. This hotel exceeded our expectations, and I would definitely return.

This was close to the metro and the staff was super helpful in helping us figure out where to go and what to do. We had a cute balcony and it was easy to get around to all the stops we wanted to see in Barcelona. We traveled with 4 people and this room was very nice. I would recommend this hotel.

Great location very close to everything you need! Room was huge and we loved the balcony. Would definitely stay again! My only negative was that it was very loud at night being on a busy street

The location was perfect, walking distance to everything we needed. Lots of options for dining, sight seeing, and touristy things. The staff were delightful. The room had a little wear at tear (particularly in the bathroom) but it was tastefully decorated and clean. Given the location, it wasn't super quiet but it wasn't noisy either. I would absolutely stay there again.

Beautifully decorated room, very elegant, extremely comfortable bed, friendly and helpful receptionist, hot shower, very walkable neighborhood. It's more like private apartments than a standard hotel, so funny expect a lively lobby area. Only downside was that the housekeeping needs to improve. We found trash in the trash can from the previous guest, and the bathroom cabinets very dirty inside, with hair, something that was never fixed even in the next day's cleaning.

Awesome stay

Great location in Barcelona, close to shops and harbor. Worth the walk to it. The front desk was very helpful in locating great spots to eat and walk to. Have helpful suggestions in transportation that was safe and if you’re on a time specific visit made things easily accessible.

The staff at the hotel especially Camille was very helpful and friendly. The hotel is very conveniently located by major streets and metro stops. It is very easy to get to Casa Batllo and a slightly farther walk to Las Ramblas and the Gothic Quarter. Lots of eating options, cafes, and a grocery store near the hotel. Can also easily take the bus to Park Guell.

Communication was excellent. They had someone open up after hours to get us checked in, since our flights got canceled. The apartment was clean,quiet, and conveniently located. Recommended for families

A very nice boutique hotel in an ideal location right in the heart of the city. The family room was very well suited for our family of four with two children 10 and under - although a door between the two rooms would have made it perfect. The rooms and bathroom were clean if not spotless (in particular there were a number of scuff marks on the walls) and the twin balconies were great for relaxing away from the heat of the sun and very quiet considering the city centre location. The highlight of our stay however was the service from the manager / receptionist (whose name I shamefully forgot to ask) - he couldn’t have been more welcoming or helpful in making recommendations for how to make the most of our short stay in a city with so much to offer, nor in helping with our luggage and arranging for us to leave it securely after checkout so that we could collect it on the way to the airport.

What a find!!

My daughter and I loved the Violeta. The entrance is eccentric- it feels like you are stepping into an early 20th century office building. Our room was large and quiet with a sweet balcony, the bed was comfortable, and the Eixample location just next to El Born and The Gothic Quarter- couldn’t have been better.

A lovely hotel

We stayed in one of the family rooms for 2 nights as a base to tour the city. We arrived around 3:30pm and were greeted by Camille who was very friendly. He helped with our bags, gave us plenty of information on areas to visit, how to get there and also great places to eat that were not tourist traps. Our room was large, clean and had a lovely set of covered balconies that looked over a square. Plenty of tea and coffee with an nespresso machine which was unexpected and an added bonus. Water was also provided. The bathrooms were clean and water hot. Some wear and tear to the bathroom but not in any way to affect cleanliness. Air con was adequate. There is coffee and pastries available in the morning but we did not stay for that. The hotel felt very safe and secure. The hotel is in walking distance to the subway and buses and main shopping areas. Using the free now app, we had no problems arranging a taxi outside of the hotel to get further afield. It was an easy walk back from Sagrada Familia, taking only 20 minutes. I would not hesitate to stay here again and have recommended it to family and friends.

We were traveling with our two teenage kids, so we were looking for a room with four beds—and this hotel turned out to be a perfect fit for us. Since there's no staff on site 24/7, make sure to check whether someone will be available around your check-in time. The elevator is very small and stops between floors, so you might need to carry your luggage up or down a few stairs. Although they said breakfast isn’t included, there were some simple options like bread and drinks, which was a nice touch (we had to leave early, so we didn’t get to try it). On our last day, a staff member named Camille (not sure about the spelling) helped us check out, and he was the kindest person I met during my time in Spain. Thank you!

The service was excellent, Pablo? was very friendly and gave us a whistle stop tour of the city on the mapwhen we arrived, which was great as we were only there for two days. We arrived early and even though the room wasn't ready we could drop our luggage off and head out to explore for a bit. We stayed in a family room (my wife, two kids and myself) that was perfect, comfy beds and air conditioning, we had a lovely spacious balcony that we could use for breakfast (pastries and juice that was included) and in the evening for a few drinks after retiring from the Barcelona night. Would highly recommend this place, perfect spot for exploring the city!
