"The Lamaro is a stunning hotel! It is conveniently located on a lovely square right opposite the Cathedral of Barcelona. The view from the rooftop bar/restaurant is fabulous. The area has lots of cafes and small shops for exploring. The room was beautifully decorated as was the lobby. We ate breakfast twice and dinner once in the main floor restaurant. All meals were great. I would certainly stay there again!"

"It was a great place to stay that was near the airport. It’s approximately a 15 to 20 minute ride to the airport. They had a shuttle service to go to the airport. Great lounge did not try the restaurant. It was located in a residential area so you had options if you want to go have a drink or a snack elsewhere. We definitely stay there again. The bed was extremely comfy."

"Overall I had a great experience at this hotel. It was clean and close to downtown and the waterfront.
One critique or point of caution for others is that there are multiple locations for this hotel with the same name. The hotel and Expedia should do a better job to point this out and make it clear. There is one near the airport and one downtown.
I took a taxi from the airport asking to go to the “Innside Hotel” and the driver took me to the wrong one. He charged me a flat rate of $21 for a short trip probably less than 10 minutes to the one close to the airport.
The check in person told me that i was at the wrong location and that the same thing happened to someone else earlier in the day. I had to take another taxi around $25 to the downtown location.
If this has happened to multiple people then why don’t you do something about it?"

"Location is the best! However, the bedding has blood stain on it. The towel all too old felt filthy. The water at breakfast taste fishy. - good breakfast though and the roof top is wow! 3 stars at the most."

"This is an acceptable travel hotel in central location. We did not think it was worth the price at all and were disappointed. Clean inside. Comfortable beds. Breakfast was really awful. You should note that the larger family rooms are actually two tiny rooms connected by a strange little foyer with its own door. The heavy fire doors do not prop open, so this would be very annoying with small kids. Staff said they would try to prop doors and then never came back. It’s a fine hotel, but pictures and price make it appear much more luxurious than it is. Lots of construction right in front of hotel. Great location. "
