The room was nice, well equipped and quiet. I appreciated the room darkening curtains and pull down window covering. Staff was also very helpful and friendly. Location was great.

A lovely small hotel in a peaceful neighborhood with a short distance to a lot of good restaurants, bars and cafes in the lovely Gracia and L’Eixample. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.

Nice Hotel

This hotel is a minimalist hotel with the very basics. A bit of an artsy place. The location in Gracia is very good. There is a metro stop half a block away. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Hotel was very clean.

Rooms are very basic and the cleaning is fine until you look at any corners. The furnishings are a bit tired too. The beds are comfortable and it was quiet (despite being on a low floor facing the street) The blackout blinds were good, and breakfast was good with plenty of choice. The air conditioning was poor and there was a musty smell in the room. More like a student hostel than 4 star hotel- wouldn't stay again.

A nice, small hotel in Gràcia, Pol & Grace sits between 2 major subway lines, 3-minutes from the Plaça Molina L7 station. The comfortable reception area is adjacent to a bright, well-appointed guest lounge with tea & coffee and places to work, read or hang out. We particularly appreciated Luria’s help checking us in, helping us navigate the neighborhood and arranging a taxi to get us to the airport. The rooms are smallish but nicely renovated, and our bed was comfortable. The hotel also has a large roof terrace with plants, lounge chairs, tables & umbrellas. It’s just so nice to be up on a roof under the perfect Barcelona weather. Also, the hotel is only a 6-minute walk from architect Antoni Gaudí’s first major commission: the inspired Casa Vicens.

This hotel is a great location, the staff are excellent and helpful. The hotel lobby has a great layout and atmosphere with free coffee and a variety of teas. The rooms are good and the daily room service is excellent. The main issue is no A.C. The staff said this was because it was winter. But if you open the window the road is too noisy to sleep and if you close the window there is no airflow - too stuffy. A four star hotel should have A/C available at any time of the year. The hotel and staff are excellent apart from the A/C issue.

Not a four-star hotel

The room was cramped, but that was fully expected, since I reserved a single room. The room was in the back of the building. The view was on a wall. The bathroom was microscopic and dated. The toilet leaked. The hotel is very spartan. There is no bar. No gym. The employees non exactly cheerful. The breakfast was quite good. The AC worked well. It is a solid three-star hotel.

Damp rooms, nice staff.

Good looking hotel, friendly and efficient staff. Horrible maintenance. Dented and aged furniture Rust on the bathtub!, awful smell of stale dampness in two different rooms (the concierge quickly and friendly offered to swap our rooms when we complained, but the new one smelled equally). Windows at the second floor can't be opened. Good looking hotel in a nice area, doesn't deserve 4 stars given it seems to have never been refurbished ever since it's opening.

No Air Conditioning

Had terrible sleeping because they had not switched the building to AC. We were on the 5th floor and roasted. They came and opened the window, but it is in a very busy part of town. People were yelling, partying and driving loud motorcycles all night. Our choices were roast, or leave the window open with bright lights and extremely loud city noise. Called and complained, and they were empathetic, but never brought a fan they promised to bring. After complaining multiple days. Would have left, but did not have time to search for new hotel.
