Great location. You can not find better location than this in Gothic Quarter. Subway station is just in front of the hotel and there are lots of shopping and dining locations around. Area is not quiet because it is a touristy area. So we had noises from street until 1 AM every night. Staff are very polite and friendly. They help and answer questions kindly also have luggage storage option which is very good. Breakfast buffet was very good with lots of options to choose. Our room was newly renovated and very clean. The only thing that I can recommend to management for the improvement is to put coffee maker machines and water bottles in the room. Thank you to the hotel staff for the good experience that they made for us.

We loved our stay at Hotel Suizo! It is centrally located and convenient to the metro and all the sightseeing! The staff was very helpful and provided excellent recommendations.

The location is excellent. The metro is right outside the front door and busses right on the street in front, that we used a lot. The room was quite nice and clean, except for the shower that was a bit gross with black on the caulking and grout, needing a proper scrub. The breakfast was excellent and the staff always polite and helpful. The problem was with the air conditioning. We complained twice and they supposedly fixed it twice but it was just too warm in the room. They gave us a fan which helped us sleep, but unfortunately I wouldn’t stay there again in the summer.

We stayed at a quadruple room for 3 nights. The room was very spacious and it was clean. Air conditioning worked great despite the heat wave in Barcelona. The location is excellent as all the popular sites are within walking distance. Lots of options for dining around the area. Will certainly book again.

Wir waren für einen Kurztrip in Barcelona und würden dieses Hotel wieder buchen da es sehr zentral ist. Direkter Zugang zur Metro, schönes Viertel, vieles zu Fuß erreichbar. Sehr gutes Frühstücksbüffet, freundliche Mitarbeiter, Fenster gut Lärmgeschützt.

The hotel is located at the heart of the Gothic Quarter .I love convenience of the Matro station is right in front of the Hotel and restaurants, shops are close by. I especially like the bakery next door, freshly baked croissant every day.

The location of the property was great as it was close to transit, amenities and restaurants. It was in a very walkable location, however, the property is older and there is only one working elevator which sometimes takes awhile.

I would definitely stay here again. The room was perfectly fine for 1 person, although the luggage and stuff of 2 people would be a problem - perhaps a bigger 'desk' would help? However, the room was extremely clean upon arrival and kept clean every day, and the AC was excellent (even during a few very hot days) - and not only excellent, but **quiet**. I have honestly never had better AC in a European hotel. The staff were wonderful. The location was perfect for me - I had to get to a conference at the new Campus Diagonal-Besos and L4 was literally steps from the front door. I thought the breakfast was very good, except with all the amazing summer fruit available it would have been appreciated to have more fresh fruit. Also - in some review I read someone claimed that this hotel was down an alley (?), so I want to emphasize that this hotel is in a very safe and well-lit spot, right by a main street, even though it is a perfect launching spot for the whole Gothic Quarter. It is easy to return to at night, without any worries, even if you are on your own, as I was during my visit.
