Exactly what you would expect for the price. I had a nice stay here & would use again for short stays. It is an excellent place to stay for the surroundings- Carrer de Blai is 6 yards away, line 2 metro a 2 minute walk. You can walk in to city centre in 15/20 minutes. Great location!

The hostel is super centrally located. I had air conditioning and a tv in my room and a private bathroom. The room was cleaned every day. You can get everywhere on foot. The nearest metro station is only 3 min away. There are supermarkets everywhere.

It’s not a bad place to stay on a budget, especially if you’re traveling solo, need privacy, and are going to be outside most of the time. The housekeepers brought me fresh towels, toilet paper, soap and a new trash bag on mornings when I needed to sleep through the service period in the morning. The lounge downstairs had a microwave that I wish I knew about earlier (for leftovers — lots of great affordable restaurants in the vicinity). The hotel’s within walking distance from bus and train stations that can easily take you to attractions like Parc Güell and the Arc de Triomf, and the area gets quiet after midnight. The blackout curtains don’t exactly block all light so you may need to sleep with an eye mask for a sound night’s rest. My biggest complaint is the wi-fi connection being weak in my room and inconsistent throughout the hotel. Foreign travelers like myself often use eSIMs with limits in data, and I would’ve preferred to use Wi-Fi in the apartment to chart my daily plans, access the Internet, etc. Overall, it’s ideal for someone with a hostel budget looking for privacy.

Nice location, nice staff. I did not eat breakfast, just coffee, no coffee in the rooms. Small room but I was solo. You leave your key with the staff when you leave the hotel, I was fine with it, other hotels in Europe also do it. Small bathroom for sure.

It was located in an area easy to walk to any kind of food, breakfast and lunches. Not a fancy place, but clean. Small rooms like most European rooms. Our room had a very small window, facing another building. It was very good for people that are not in the room only to sleep.

A little worn

Very small room with rather worn furnishings (see the photo) and a smell of smoke in hallways. One night I was woken at 2am by the room next door using the shower. It sounded like it was in my room. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Aircon was very useful.

Noisy, ok for a budget and location

I stayed in room 115, it was an internal room with no natural light. The only window in the room opened onto an internal fire escape, and had bars on the window. The walls were thin, and you could hear waste running down the drains. I'd recommend taking earplugs if you intend to stay here. On a plus, the staff were friendly when I interacted with them, and the hotel is centrally located only a few minutes away from the metro

Noisy, uncomfortable beds

This room was very noisy. You could hear everything through the walls it sounded like the neighbor having a conversation was in the room with me. Doors a slamming all throughout the night. The bed was very uncomfortable. The shower was minuscule. Imagine the smallest shower you've ever seen in your life meant for a child and this is probably smaller than it. The blankets on the bed Had large burn holes in them and looked dirty. I don't know if they ever wash the blankets every day I would take the blankets off and put them on the floor but they would put them back on the bed. There is no phone in the room so if you have to get in touch with anyone at the front desk you have to go down to the front desk directly
