"I am sorry to say that our stay was unexpectedly very bad. Even as we checked in the property was cold. There was NO HEATING and no HOT WATER. After many tephone calls we were told that the we boiler was not functioing. We were given grossly inadequate heaters which did little to correct the situation. It completely wrecked the evening which was the celebration of my wife's 70th Birthday. Our first night was a nightmare with no ability for us and our guests to have shower for two full days even...

"The hotel is in a great location, approximately 15 minute walk to the town centre and Kings College, There is parking on site, which is payable for customers who have not booked directly through hotel website. Blue Badge holders park for free. Hang onto your parking ticket, as you'll need it to exit the barrier. All the staff were friendly and helpful and were very accommodating with installation of oxygen concentrator and tanks for my husband's use. Our large double room was spacious and clean, although there is no AC, so it was very warm, even with the window open. We took small portable fans which helped massively during the night. The continental breakfast is mainly bread/toast, pastries and fresh fruit, with ham and cheese. The shower was pretty powerful and shampoo and shower gel are provided."
