"The staff was excellent. The property overall was okay. The room needed new carpet as was worn. The very ad issue was the bathroom shower was bad . The shower head was old and did not work or adjust at all. Worse was there was mold in three areas of the shower. Was not nice at all. These areas need addressed as I woukd not go back to the Hampton."

"I booked this property thru Expedia-DO NOT DO THIS!!! I got to the property and did not have a room which I had already paid for in advance!!! To change the reservation I was charged a LARGE fee and Expedia had false advertising free change/cancellation! They do allow the change but claim TRU charges a fee of so basically my 2 night stay changed to 1 night for same price as 2 nights! It was a legit nightmare. Then I get there and they don't have me down for a room and are sold out. So I pull up my confirmation and by some weird miracle they find a King room for 3 of us, but we made due. There was a smell in the room like old smoke, bed was ok, room is TINY!!!! Pool is small, staff did try to be helpful but no one refunded anything or offered anything. I also had to sit on the phone with EXPEDIA for over an hour to get them to "move the funds paid to the hotel" to cover the room. It was all such a joke and needless to say I would never ever ever deal with EXPEDIA again. And Tru obviously partners with them and there is an issue there too! Comfort Suites next door was much nicer and big rooms!!!!"

"It was convenient, next to the highway and close to the downtown area. Room was clean but small. Shuttle service was great, our shuttle driver Veronica was very nice and fun! No complimentary breakfast."
