This hotel is just one year old. It is in a beautiful location even for a weekend getaway from Jakarta. The hotel is very well managed and the staff is excellent. I ordered room service a few times and the food and preparation was really excellent. I was pleasantly surprised in all aspects.

This is my first time staying here and I had an amazing stay. The hotel is huge and the view is beautiful. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, especially Yulio. He was really kind, showed us around, and explained all the hotel facilities. They also gave a free photography session and one framed. I’ll definitely choose this hotel again if I go to Lampung

I like the private beach. They can do a better job with the swimming pool. They should require baby or toddler (1-2 yrs) to wear swim diapers and not eating in the pool while swimming or in the water. Eating should be out the water.

Schöne Idee, schwache Umsetzung

Wir verbrachten ein langes Wochenende im Marriott Lampung, um Jakarta zu entkommen - leider wurden unsere Erwartungen enttäuscht. Das Hotel richtet sich klar an indonesische Familien mit kleinen Kindern: viele Kinderaktivitäten, hoher Lärmpegel, keine ruhige Atmosphäre. Die Restaurantsituation ist unbefriedigend: Das kleine Strandrestaurant Way Manom bietet nur begrenzte indonesische Küche und ist nur zu den Hauptessenszeiten geöffnet. Mittags bleibt das Hauptrestaurant geschlossen, abends gibt es nur Buffet - wenn man reserviert hat. Ohne Reservierung steht man am Anreisetag schnell ohne Tisch da. Am Ende bestellten wir drei Abende Roomservice - ironischerweise das beste Essen des Aufenthalts, mit großer Auswahl an Gerichten, die es in den Restaurants nicht gibt. Die fehlende digitale Infrastruktur ist unzeitgemäß: Menü nur per QR-Code am Fernseher einsehbar, bestellen ausschließlich telefonisch möglich. Der Strand ist dreckig, der Pool ebenso, mein weißer Bikini war nach 30 Minuten grün. Es gibt zu wenige Liegen, die Auflagen sind schmutzig. Zimmer sind hellhörig und abgewohnt, Bettwäsche mit Löchern, Handtücher ausgefranst - für ein Hotel, das erst ein Jahr geöffnet ist, enttäuschend. Positiv: freundlicher Service, reibungsloser Flughafentransfer, gutes Spa. Fazit: Für den Preis und die beworbene „Ruheoase“ bleibt das Hotel hinter dem Anspruch zurück. Für Familien mit Kindern okay – wer Ruhe, Wellness und gutes Essen sucht, sollte etwas anderes wählen.
