"The room I was given was very dirty. Sand covered floor...strangly they provide you a broom and dust pan to clean the floor yourself.I stayed one night and befriended the owner, he seemed like a good guy, I expressed interest in stay another night, he asked if i pay him directly rather than me using expedia, he said he has to wait for expedia to disperse the money. "My stay at Hotel Araguaia was excellent. The hotel was very clean and the staff were extremely friendly. Every need I had was taken care of with attention and kindness. The location is wonderful, right in front of the beach, and the air conditioning works perfectly, keeping the room fresh and comfortable. The accommodations are very good. The third floor is already renovated and looks great. They are currently working on renovating the second and first floors as well. The breakfast was delicious and offered a nice variety. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely return."
