"Pro: The property is in a great location. It’s in the center of Goreme. It’s walking distance to the Goreme open air museum, bus station, and many shops. The staff is friendly and helpful. The staff helped me coordinate an airport pickup at the last minute. Cons: Our room was not well maintained in the sense that it smelled like sewage. We ran the bathroom fan, room fan, and slept with our window open but the smell continued to intensify. The lid on the toilet was falling off. The bed was not properly covered with a fitted sheet or a sheet that even covered the mattress. In the first 5 minutes of sleeping, your body is touching the uncovered mattress. I am not sure whether I would stay in this hotel again. Everything but the room was great."

"I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Rio Cappadocia. Honestly, it’s one of those places where the hospitality makes the whole experience even better. A special thanks to Enzo at the front desk — he was incredibly helpful, friendly, and welcoming. The two ladies at breakfast were also wonderful, always so kind and friendly. And the breakfast… absolutely amazing! Without a doubt, it was the best breakfast I had during my entire stay in Turkey. Everything was delicious, and I looked forward to it every morning. The hotel itself is a great place to stay in Göreme, with a really nice atmosphere and a great location for exploring Cappadocia. The only small issue I had was that the Wi-Fi in Room 101 wasn’t working. Fortunately, there was a router in the room and I had an Ethernet cable with me, so I connected my computer directly and the wired internet worked perfectly. Other than that, everything was excellent. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend Hotel Rio Cappadocia. A genuinely great place with wonderful people!"

"I really enjoyed my stay at Osmania Cappadocia Hotel. The staff here is so kind and helpful, they make you feel right at home. The property is also super tranquil and beautiful. Because of the heat we spent a lot of time indoors and it didn't feel like we were missing out on much because the views from the hotel are gorgeous."

"Lovely family run boutique hotel, good breakfast and terrace with fantastic balloon and valley views in a very convenient walkable location. The absolute highlight for me though was the family and staff who were on hand 24/7 if needed. I was travelling solo and it was my first time in Turkey, and every time I came back to the hotel after a day or evening out, it felt like I was coming home. I was treated with respect and kindness, and always a welcoming smile and greeting but otherwise left to do my own thing unless I asked, which was exactly what I wanted from my 9 night stay. At my request they arranged, airport shuttles, a dawn balloon ride, horse riding tour and Green tour which were all reasonably priced and very well organised without fuss. Overall a superb hotel, made exceptional by the personnel. Thank you x"
