「Wonderful hotell, excellent location, spacious room, highly recommended!」

「The room is clean and tidy. The breakfast is good with different options. The hotel is a little bit far from the ferry pier, it takes about 25 mins to walk there. If you have luggage, you'd better call a taxi, the taxi fare is reasonable anyway. 」

「Warm welcome, enjoyed delicious breakfast and nice chat with owners each morning. Facilities in good condition and well maintained. Decorated intentionally making guests a home stay feel. Near bus stop and promenade, also walkable distance to main streets and dock. To nitpick, there’s creaky sound walking on the wooden floor.」

「The staff were excellent always helpful and willing to help too, food was well above the standard of other Hotels, and the rooms were well kept and cosy. We were so impressed with the Hotel we've booked to stay again in September.. the only negative was that there was no lift, which made things slightly difficult for us but manageable Thank you to everyone who made our stay so pleasant . 」

El apartamento estaba recién remodelado y con detalles muy modenos. Fácil acceso y justo frente al castillo. La climatización perfecta. La lavadora ni se escucho y función muy bien. 「The hotel is in a good location close the ferry terminal and restaurants pubs and shops. Breakfast was very good.」

「The guest house was in a good location just off the promenade. Room was spotless and in very good condition. Bed was very comfortable and made daily. Room was well appointed. Breakfast each morning was high quality and everything was freshly made. Dora the proprietor was very attentive and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble if needed some assistance. I would definitely stay there again if in Douglas and would recommend to family and friends. 」

「The host couldn't have done more for us. The Melrose is convenient for the shops although there was a short uphill walk to get back. The room although compact was clean, the bedding was lovely and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was good, cereal, orange juice, Tea or coffee and a full english and there was also the offer of Manx kippers if you wanted them.. There are a lot of stairs up to the rooms but that is typical of the B&Bs in Douglas. If I have one slight criticism it's that...
