「Lovely old converted mill in a great, walkable location at the edge of the old town. The staff were friendly and spoke English. The restaurant was very good, too. I highly recommend having a dinner there. The only reasons (very minor) I would not give 5 stars were: 1. There was a clicking noise from the lights in the hallway that bothered my (adult) kids all night. They told the front desk, but not sure if it was understood. 2. The duvets on the beds were small and difficult to keep our feet...

「This property is in a fantastic location and when I am travelling that is probably the most important consideration for me. I walked everywhere! People have noted that there is no elevator and so the stairs are hard to manage with luggage. That’s true but I stayed for almost a week and that didn’t bother me. The breakfast situation is quirky… a mixture of breathless room service (lady suffering the stairs) and restaurant buffet. Very friendly staff and no shortage of quaint character about...

This means it was very quiet all day and night, and making sitting on the room balcony a very pleasant experience. Room very well equipped and with modern furnishings. Excellent breakfast too.」
