"This hotel is amazing. Has a wonderful landscape right next to the river. As a matter of fact they even offer you a free riverboat ride to the center and a charter transportation to pick you up. I really enjoyed the attention to detail and the spa is great. "

"The hotel is the less-nice section of the Holiday Inn that it is housed in. This means that the rooms are not as nice but the amenities (
pool, bar, dining room) are great. Our room had a broken lock and was missing towels and bedding when we arrived. The towels and bedding were resolved quickly, the lock never got fixed. The next day the cleaning staff cleaned up our room and took the used towels but didn’t replace them, leaving us with two towels for a family of 4. "

"We were given an upgrade to the suite, which was great, of course.
The hotel is lovely, aretreat in a quiet area and yet within walking distance to Porto center.
Breakfast was good. Outside swimming

Nice restaurants close including a good Indian Mendi.
Hotel well furnished, rooftop bar, spa, etc.

"When we checked in, we were greeted by Glauber de Freitas. From our check in he commented that it was soon my wife’s birthday. We didn’t think much of this and asked about local dining options that met our dietary requirements. He suggested a great restaurant that we enjoyed very much.
This trip was a celebration for my wife. We had a day trip planned for the actual day. When we returned, we found a gluten free cake and chilling sparkling wine in our room. The gesture capped off a perfect day. Glauber left a beautifully handwritten card wishing my wife a happy birthday and reassured us that everything met our dietary restrictions. We forgot that we shared all this information with him, but he didn’t. This gesture made our stay beyond extraordinary."
