"This is not the most convenient location- you have to take a shuttle with limited times to get to the train station to get to Sorrento and from there get a ferry to Naples, Capri or Amalfi / Positino. I thought we were staying in Sorrento so took a ferry there and it costs us $80 euros to get to hotel sadly. You also have to get a bus between the ferry port and train station or walk it. All of this hard on my husband who uses a Walker. However, with all that said, this place is TERRIFIC!! No complaints whatsoever. Amazing views of Vesuvius, beautiful pool, great staff, lovely breakfast, spacious room & balcony, etc!"

"Large room with amazing location of view"

"An absolutely stunning property with incredibly helpful staff. The only thing I would warn about is the distance from Sorrento (where I had booked our Viator tours out of.) I didn’t notice that detail when I booked through Hotels.com. It required a 20 euro ride to the train station and then a half hour ride on Trenitalia or Circumvesuviana. Then do the same upon return."

"A perfectly good stay at the palazzo murrano. The staff, from reception to housekeeping, were excellent and couldn’t have been more helpful.. the housekeeper even dropped us off at the station early on the morning of check out. The photos probably flatter the rooms a little, but on the whole a very nice hotel. Our room was on the same floor as reception, which was less than ideal, with noise and smoking penetrating the room from outside."

"The property is impeccably beautiful. The views are incredible every morning. You wake up to the rooster when the sun is rising, simply majestic I would definitely go back there again to use the pool. We didn’t get the opportunity to use my suggestion as you stay there for at least four days take the boat trip from Sorrento to Amalfi and Positano. That was suggested from the front desk and it was a great day."

"I had an amazing 7-night stay at Hotel Le Axidie and couldn’t be happier with my experience. Everything was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. The staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed, which made us feel very comfortable throughout our stay. The hotel is very clean, well-maintained, and in a great central location, making it easy to explore the area and enjoy everything nearby. The food was delicious, with great variety and excellent quality, and the service overall was outstanding. What I appreciated most was the warm atmosphere and attention to detail that made the whole experience feel relaxing and special. I would definitely recommend Hotel Le Axidie to anyone looking for a beautiful, comfortable place to stay, and I would happily come back again!"
